CHAP GOH MEI- 2011

Dear Members,

As in previous years, Singapore Business Association Vietnam (SBAV) will be organizing a charity dinner on the 15th day of the Lunar New Year (“Chap Goh Mei”) to raise funds for the less fortunate. This year, SBAV plans to hold its Chap Goh Mei Charity Dinner on

Time: 6.30pm onwards
Date: Thursday 17th February 2011
Venue: Victoria Ballroom – Fortuna Hotel – 6B Lang Ha- Ba Dinh- Hanoi

Last year, we raised around USD17,000 at the Chap Goh Mei Dinner. Over 60 orphans and 90 elderly in the Centre 3 – Tu Liem – Hanoi benefited from your generosity. Renovation works did were replacement of all old windows & doors by Aluminum, Re-tile the floor, painting of outside wall, installing new water closet, install new wash basin etc.
Another assistance SBAV is rendering to Centre 3 is the monthly provision of medical needs to cover the shortfall in their regular supply from the government.

These needy orphans and elderly in Centre 3 or disaster victims would need our continuous support. We hope to take more practical action but we need your help and support in order to make a contribution to improve their living conditions. The Chap Goh Mei Dinner is a good opportunity for us to contribute to society and help the less fortunate among us. You can support by booking a table for Chap Goh Mei Dinner or through cash donation for SBAV Charity projects. Each table for 10 pax is priced at USD 500 and individual tickets are priced at USD 60 each. The payment can be made by bank transfer or by cash.
